I like to do at least one High Intensity Workout every week.
Your body has an energy cycle that can replenish your energy stores at a pretty good pace. But throw in a H.I.I.T workout, and your body can’t keep up! It has to then borrow energy from other energy systems during the intense session, and then once the session is over, your body must then pay back it’s borrowed energy over the rest of the day. This is why H.I.I.T workouts are effective for burning fat. Your body not only burns calories during, but also for hours afterwards.
